‘Sudds’ Leads Waimate to Big Win for 2nd Grade over Temuka

The Second Grade team pulled off a big upset beating the previously unbeaten Temuka XI comfortably over the weekend. This pushes Temuka back to third place behind MVHS/Star and Waimate.

Batting first Waimate put together a very impressive tally of 213-3 from their 40 overs. Tim Suddaby finished unbeaten on 81 while Robbie Westland was out for an equally impressive 76 while Ruha Davis also got amongst the runs with 38.

The 'Wily Old Campaigner'Temuka’s reply came close, eventually being all out for 190 as the “Wily Old Campaigner” Pete Wallace led the Waimate bowling attack with 3-18.
