Waimate Twenty20 this Friday night
The Waimate Seniors play their second T20 match of the season in the Placemakers T20 competition at Aorangi Oval on Friday night. So far there have been 3 freezing nights, so the forecast is for much better conditions this weekend, so if you are in Timaru on Friday why not pop along and give us some support.
Last time we lost by 10 runs after Naffa hit an awesome 90, so this time we want to get those extra runs for a win and hopefully Naffa can for his ton too!
We play the schoolboys Roncalli, although they are difficult if we can’t get rid of their English pros, Kilbee and Afridi.
The match begins at 5.30pm and is all over by 8.15. See you there
