250% improvement by Second Grade

Waimate Second Grade had a much improved performance against competition leaders Timaru this weekend after being dismissed for 31 in the previous round, this time managing 75 runs with Tim Suddaby top-scoring with 21 and Hayden Russell with 15 also making double figures.

Despite wickets to George Morgan and Ryan Manson, Timaru still won comfortably for the loss of only two wickets.
